Dhaka: As part of Bangladesh Football Federation’s plans to start training for U-15 and U-18 footballers in the newly formed BFF Academy in Dhaka’s Beraid, trials for selecting the U-15 and U-18 players will be held in Dhaka on February 9 and 10.
Many promising U15 and U18 youngsters from the grass-root level will participate in the training camp. The Bangladesh Football Federation has launched a long-term residential training camp at the newly formed BFF Football Academy in Dhaka’s Beraid area from March 1, 2019 for players from the U15 and U18 pool. To select players for the academy, the BFF launched a talent hunt programme on Monday, January 28 and 29.
In this regard, trials for U-18 players of Dhaka, Narayanganj and Manikganj will be held on February 10.
The selected players will start training in the BFF Academy from March 1, 2019 along with other players selected through trial processes from all across the country. The players will be under long term residency programme during their stay in the BFF Academy, formed by BFF to boost the number of footballing talent in the country.
Similar trials for U-18 players of Dhaka, Narayanganj and Manikganj will be held on February 10.
