Bangladesh U16 girls set to face Philippines

Mandalay: Bangladesh U16 National Women’s Football Team have practiced all day long ahead of their first game against Philippines on February 27. They had an official training session at the match Stadium in Mandalay. The Bangladesh team are hoping that they will earn advantages from the size and the surface of the field and will be able to play in an attacking style against their east Asian opponent. The starting eleven rehearsed their defensive and attacking motions. They used the new technological GPS pods and vests to monitor their intensity levels and physical outputs. Head coach Mr Choton is pleased with the environment and condition there while vice-captain Akhi Khatun is expressed her excitement for getting opportunity to play in such a stadium. Meanwhile, a match Co-ordination meeting (MCM) will be held at 1-00 PM on Tuesday. All four teams of group B and the AFC Match Commissioner will be present at the meeting. Also, there will be a pre-match press conference around 2-00 PM (Local Time) where the head coaches of the four teams will brief media.
