A grand reception was held for the women’s u-15 football team of Bangladesh for winning the SAFF u-15 Women’s Football Championship 2017.
The teenager girls became unbeaten champions in the tournament that was played at Bir Shreshtha Shahid Sipahee Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Dhaka during December 17-24, 2017.
A ceremony was held in this regard on September 13 where Janata Bank congratulated the team.
The event was attended by BFF president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin, BFF Women’s Football Committee Chairman Mahfuza Akhter Kiran and Janata Bank Chairman Luna Shamsuddoha, among others.
Janata Bank presented each member of the winning team with cheques and gave the best player of the tournament, Akhi Khatun a cheque of 1,00,000 taka.
