Dhaka: The participating teams of Bangamata U19 Women’s International Gold Cup 2019 have begun arriving in Dhaka to compete in the tournament set to kick-off on Monday, April 22.
The first ever Bangamata U19 Women’s International Gold Cup 2019, organized by the BFF, will be held from April 22 to May 3 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka.
Six U19 women’s teams, including Bangladesh will compete in the tournament. Mongolia, Tajikistan and Laos were drawn into Group A whereas Bangladesh will compete against United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kyrgyzstan in Group B.
Among the participants, Tajikistan were the first team to arrive who landed in Dhaka in the night of April 19.
Then Mongolia arrived here in the early hours of Saturday. United Arab Emirates (UAE) have also arrived in Dhaka.
Laos will reach Bangladesh Saturday afternoon whereas Kyrgyzstan will arrive here on Sunday morning.
Meanwhile, team Bangladesh has a press conference at 3:00pm at the BFF House on Saturday.
The tournament will kick-off with a Group B clash of Bangladesh and UAE at 6:00pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka on Monday, April 22.
