Arambagh show Brothers their mettle

Arambagh Krira Sangha ended their Bangladesh Premier League 2018-19 campaign with a huge victory on Friday afternoon. The Arambagh men beat Brothers 5-2 at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka to end the season on a high. Park opened the scoring for Brothers only two minutes into the game. However, Emile equalized for Arambagh in the 12th minute. Mathew then scored twice between the 20th and the 24th minute to put Arambagh 3-1 ahead. Then Emile scored his brace in the 37th minute. Six minutes later, Mathew completed his hat-trick to put the game beyond Brothers. Rabbi’s 72nd minute goal only served as consolation for Brothers who avoided relegation by only a point. Arambagh finish the season at fifth with 33 points from 24 matches whereas Brothers finish at 11th with 21 from 24.
