BFF AFC certificate coaching courses

As part of Phase 3 of the BFF Football development plan, BFF will focus on engaging and enriching the next generation of teachers, players, coaches and all fans involved in the game. The focus will be on 8 key technical pillars — Elite Player Development, Coach Education & Development, Competitions, Referee Development, Medical and Sports Science, Professional Clubs & Leagues, Women’s Football and Grassroots.

All the technical pillars are interlinked and interdependent. The short and long term development goals within each pillar will help move them forward in a concerted fashion. With the introduction of a well thought out national coaching curriculum, the BFF will standardise coaching and education throughout the country. This will then allow every single football coach adopt best practices and will be in line with the strategies for teaching, learning and development of players. The teaching & learning of coaches is a key priority within the overall football development plan.

The levels of certificate coaching courses are the official coaching recognition provided by the Asian Football Confederation with the help of Bangladesh Football Federation, so that all coaches are educated and supported so the practice with players at all levels of the game is both effective logical and systematic. This will also ensure that coaching practices are scientific and professional.

As we know, the better the teacher, the better the student. It only follows that better coaches will create better players at the district, club and the national levels which will drive Bangladesh towards becoming a competitive football nation.
