Abahani Ltd Dhaka thrashed their BPL opponents Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club 4-1 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Monday afternoon.
National team star forward Jibon brought an early lead for Abahani scoring his first goal at the fifth minute of the play.
At the 42nd minute, Jibon hit the ground once again to rewrite the score line 2-0.
However, the winning side overcame the shock at the 71st minute with Sohel’s scoring and left the pitch with a 4-1 victory.
After this match, Abahani’s ended their BPL journey for this season staying at the second position on the points table with 58 points from 24 matches.
On the other hand, Sheikh Jamal are at the 6th spot with 27 points from 23 games.
