All the players are fit and raring to take to the field against the Uzbeks. Qatar and Thailand Head coach Jamie Day has put his bet on the intense training of the boys to put up an amazing show in the game. Recently, the team took part in international level practice sessions in South Korean capital Seoul before landing in Jakarta. When asked if the team is well prepared to face higher ranking teams like Qatar, Uzbekistan and Thailand in their preliminary pool, the coach said the team practiced really hard and it is time to put the training into action. Jamie added that deciding on the starting 11 has been tough as every member of the team showed their potential on the training grounds. However, he hopes to deploy the best combination for success in the Asian Games, which will start officially from August 18, but the preliminary football matches have already started. Bangladesh will face Uzbekistan in their first preliminary match on August 14. The red and greens will lock horns against Thailand on August 16 and against Qatar on August 19.
