BFF arranges a Virtual Meeting with AFC & Abahani Ltd

A virtual meeting was held between AFC Bangladesh Football Federation and Abahani Ltd. at 2.00 pm today. The AFC was informed about the recent lockdown and travel restriction and was informed that it was not possible for Abahani Ltd. to take part in the match against the Maldives Eagles in Kathmandu on the 21st April, 2021. The AFC urged to discuss with the Indian Football Association whether the match could be held before the match in 25th April against Bangalore. In this case, they said to find out if there is any way to get a visa to India in a special way. They also mentioned whether the match could be held in Maldives later.
The virtual meeting was attended by General Secretary of BFF Mr. Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag, officials of Abahani Ltd. and officials of AFC.
