Ex national footballer Motaleb Hossain passes away

Dhaka, September 24: Former national footballer Md Motaleb Hossain passed away on Sunday at 3am in his residence from a heart failure.

He was 67 during his demise. The former footballer left behind his wife, son, daughter and numerous well-wishers.

During the 70s, Motaleb Hossain played eye-catching football for Dhaka giants Abahani Ltd., Mohammedan SC Ltd. and Rahmatganj MFS among other clubs.

His Namaz-e-Janaza was held after Magrib prayers.

BFF President Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin, Senior Vice-President Abdus Salam Murshedy, vice presidents, general secretaries, standing committee members and officials at the BFF expressed their grief and condolences at the death of Motaleb Hossain.
