The renowned football players participated in a meeting (Exchange of views) with the Honorable President of Bangladesh Football Federation, Kazi Md. Salahuddin on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at 2.00 pm in the Board Room of BFF Building, Motijheel. Mr. Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag, General Secretary of BFF was present at the meeting. The participating football players are Mr. Bishwanath Ghosh (Bashundhara Kings), Mr. Mahbubur Rahman Sufil (Bashundhara Kings), Mr. Md. Saad Uddin (Abahani Ltd., Dhaka), Mr. Md. Tutul Hossain Badsha (Abahani Ltd., Dhaka) and Mr. Ashraful Islam Rana (Sheikh Russell Sports Club Limited, Dhaka).

Honorable President of Bangladesh Football Federation Kazi Md. Salahuddin said about the meeting, ‘The five players I was meeting today are important players of the national team. They did not travel to Qatar. So I first wanted to know why they didn't go. They reported that they were injured. Then I thought a salary policy could be made for the best players. It will also create an interest in playing for the national team.'
