Jamal Bhuyan penalized for unbecoming comments

Bangladesh national team and Saif Sporting Club skipper Jamal Bhuyan has been penalized by the BFF Disciplinary Committee for his inappropriate comments following the match between Abahani Limited Dhaka and Saif Sporting Club back on July 20. Jamal brought some indecent allegations against the referee of that particular match while speaking in an interview with a private television channel which was broadcast on July 22. Evaluating his comments and considering that Jamal is the incumbent skipper of Bangladesh national football team, the BFF Disciplinary Committee thought it best to penalize the footballer. According to the decision taken by the committee, Jamal Bhuyan has been barred to take any part in his team’s next match against Bashundhara Kings at Rafique Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh on July 29, Monday. The committee has also warned Jamal Bhuyan strongly against making improper comments of similar fashion in the future.
