Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club and NoFeL Sporting Club played out a 2-2 draw in their BPL meeting at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka on Thursday.
Sheikh Jamal’s foreign recruit Sambou brought his team a 1-0 lead in the match at the 15th minute.
After that, the first half saw no more goal.
But the second half was full of action as both the teams gave their opponents real fight. The Dhanmondi club got their second goal in the match at the 51st minute from the previous scorer.
Five minutes later, NoFeL came up with some revenge when their local forward Ashraful netted his only goal in the match.
At the 85th minute of the play, NoFeL’s Guinean striker Ismael Bangoura scored an amazing goal which leveled the score line.
Both teams had to share points with the opponents as neither team could score in the rest time of the game.
Now, Sheikh Jamal are at the sixth position of the table with 28 points from all the 24 matches while NoFeL have only 20 points after finishing the season.
