SAFF contenders set to arrive in Dhaka from Sunday

Dhaka: With the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018 lifting the curtains from September 4, the teams are headed for Dhaka for an epic showdown of South Asian football. Of the 6 visiting teams, Sri Lanka National Football Team will arrive in Dhaka on Sunday, August 26 at 10pm. Teams Nepal and Bhutan will arrive on September 2, at 2:40pm and 12:10pm respectively. On the other hand, teams India and Maldives are set to arrive in Dhaka on September 3 at 1am and 1:45am respectively. Another contender, team Pakistan has not yet announced their arrival date but will join soon. The first match of the international tournament will kick off with Nepal and Pakistan at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on September 4, at 4pm. On the same day, Bangladesh will face Bhutan at 7pm.
