The 2018-19 football season will come to an end with a U17 or U18 tournament.
Age group teams of Bangladesh Premier League 2018-19 and Bangladesh Championship League 2018-19 will compete in the tournament.
The tournament will be held in August or September.
The decisions were taken at a meeting of the BFF Professional Football League Committee (PFLC) at the federation headquarters in Motijheel, Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.
BFF senior vice president and PFLC chairman Abdus Salam Murshedy, MP presided over the meeting.
It was also decided in the meeting that the transfer dates for the upcoming season will be announced after the end of Bangladesh Premier League 2018-19.
Following the meeting, PFLC chairman and other members congratulated Arambagh KS president AKM Mominul Hoque Sayeed with flowers for being elected as the general secretary of Bangladesh Hockey Federation.
