Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club on Wednesday got their expected victory against Mohammedan Sporting Club in their BPL round 21 match at Bangabandhu National Stadium.
The Dhanmondi boys got an early lead in the game as their foreign recruit Solomon King scored his only goal at the very first minute of the play.
At the 30th minute, another foreigner Ebou doubled the score line for Sheikh Jamal.
On the other hand, Mohammedan could celebrate only once during the match as they got their only goal from their Malian striker at the 54th minute of the match.
Sheikh Jamal lost their last two matches. Therefore, this win gave them some comfort as they are standing at the sixth position of the table with 24 points from 20 matches.
On the other hand, once top club Mohammedan are now at the ninth place with 17 points from 19 matches. They also can feel comfort as they are two spots above the relegation zone.
