Dhaka: The Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup 2019 is scheduled to begin in October, 2019.
The decision was taken at the 13th regular meeting of the BFF Executive Committee in the board room of the BFF House in Motijheel, Dhaka on Tuesday, January 15.
BFF president Kazi Md Salahuddin presided over the meeting where several other important decisions were taken.
It was decided that the player registration window for the Bangladesh Championship League 2018-19 will continue till January 31 and the league will commence on February 5.
This time around, two teams will be promoted from the league and 2 teams will be relegated.
The Second Division Football League under the Dhaka Metropolitan Football League Committee (DMFLC) will also commence soon.
Bangamata U-19 Women’s International Gold Cup 2019 will be arranged in April, 2019. A total of six countries, including Bangladesh, will take part in the tournament. K-Sports will sponsor the tournament.
Moreover, the committee also agreed the keep the practice sessions of the U16 women’s team to go on in full throttle keeping the AFC U16 Women’s Championship, Thailand 2019 qualifiers second round in mind. The second round of qualifiers will be held in Myanmar from February 27 to March 3.
