Sheikh Russel beat Mohammedan 4-2

Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra have achieved their expected victory against Mohammedan Sporting Club in Round 17 of Bangladesh Premier League 2018-19 at Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka on Sunday evening. The winning side scored four times while their opponents were successful twice in scoring. Sheikh Russel forward Biplo started scoring in the six-goal match at the 10th minute. In reply, Mohammedan’s Toklish netted his first goal to level the score line at the 16th minute. Three minutes later, Russel got back the lead with their foreign recruit Alison’s goal. Mohammedan then tried hard to get their opponents in hand, but the leading side held the wall strong. Therefore, no teams could score until the half time. Returning from the break, Mohammedan started to attack and found success at the 48th minute when Toklish scored his second goal to level the score line for his time once again. However, Toklish’s effort to keep his team in the match did not work as Sheikh Russel took the lead back once again at the 70th minute when their foreign recruit Raphael scored his first goal. 16 minutes later, Raphael scored his second goal to bring his team a 4-2 victory over Mohammedan. The point table has not been shaken at all after this match as Sheikh Russel stand at the third position with 36 points from 15 matches while Mohammedan at the 10th place with 13 points from 16 matches.
