The final round of BFF National School Football Championship’2019-20, organized by Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF), will kick-off from Tuesday (March 17). Eight zonal champions -- split into two groups – will lock horns at the city’s two different venues -- Bir Sherestha Shaheed Shipahi Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur and Outer Stadium of Paltan Maidan.

The champions will get Tk 1 lakh and runners-up Tk 50 thousand as prize money. At least 50-60 footballers from these eight participating teams will be selected for a long-term training session under experienced BFF trainers in BFF Fortis Academy. The federation will also provide transportation, accommodation and other costs of these teams.

BFF Executive Committee Member and School Football Committee Chairman Bijon Barua disclosed it in a press conference at the conference room of BFF House in Motijheel on Sunday at 1:4 pm. General Secretary Md Abu Nayeem Shohag, EC Member Amit Khan Shuvra, Head of Media Ahsan Ahmed Amit were also present there.
