The inaugural ceremony of "Bangladesh Championship League 2020-21" with the participation of 12 renowned football clubs of the country under the management of Bangladesh Football Federation was held today, 8 February 2021 at 2:45 pm at Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium. The inaugural match of the league was played between NoFeL Sporting Club vs Uttara Football Club Ltd. Uttara Football Club Ltd. defeated NoFeL Sporting Club by 1-0 goal in the match.

Mr. Abdus Salam Murshedy-MP, Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Football Federation and Chairman of Professional League Management Committee, Mr. Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, Honorable Member of Parliament of Dhaka-10, Deputy Chairman of Professional League Management Committee, Abdur Rahim, BFF Member and Chairman of BFF Referees Committee Mr. Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, BFF Member Mr. Md. Nurul Islam (Nuru), Member Mr. Mohidur Rahman Miraj, BFF General Secretary Mr. Md. Abu Nayeem Shohag and BFF Professional League Management Committee Member Syed Rezaul Karim were present at the inaugural function of Bangladesh Championship League 2020-21.
