Dhaka: Dhaka City FC and Farashgonj SC played out a goalless draw in the second phase of the ongoing Bangladesh Championship League 2018-19 at the Bir Shreshtha Shahid Sipahee Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the capital’s Kamalapur.
The second phase of the ongoing season of the BCL has begun on Tuesday with this match.
Both the teams tried hard to win the game but had to settle for a point each as lack of clinical finishing let them down.
However, the draw did not affect either team much as Farashganj SC stayed at the top of the table with 19 points while newcomer Dhaka City FC at the 4th position with 16 points.
Earlier on February 10, BCL 2018-19 began with the clash between these two competitors.
