Training course for new referees kickstarts

Dhaka, February 9: Bangladesh Football Federation has organized a training course for new football referees of the country.

The course, titled ‘New Football Referee Training Course 2017’, begun on Thursday (February 9) and will continue till Tuesday (February 14) at the BFF House in Motijheel of the capital under the direction of BFF Referees Committee.

Former FIFA referees Tyeb Hasan Samsuzzaman, Azad Rahman and Sujit Kumar Banerjee will work as instructors of the course.

In total, 120 referees from all over the country have joined the course.

BFF Senior Vice-president Abdus Salam Murshedy, Vice-president Badol Roy, members and referees committee Chairman Md Iqbal Hossain, referees committee deputy chairman Md Ibrahim Nesar, BFF General Secretary Md Abu Nayeem Sohag and other members of the referees committee were present during the inauguration of the course on Thursday.
