Trophy unveiling of Bangabandhu Gold Cup Saturday

Dhaka: To commemorate and respect the memory of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the international Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018 will take place from October 1 to 12 at Dhaka’s Bangabandhu National Stadium, Sylhet District Stadium and Bir Shreshtha Ruhul Amin Stadium in Cox’s Bazar. Apart from hosts Bangladesh, Palestine, Philippines, Laos, Nepal and Tajikistan will compete in the prestigious international tournament. The coveted trophy of the tournament will be unveiled at a colourful ceremony in the ballroom of the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka at 11:00am on Saturday, September 22. Bangladesh government’s honourable Minister for Commerce Tofayel Ahmed, MP will be present at the programme as the chief guest. Moreover, honourable Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism AKM Shahjahan Kamal, MP will also be present at the programme as the special guest. Representatives of both electronic and print media are cordially invited to attend the trophy unveiling ceremony of Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2018.
