U18 confident before Nepal faceoff

Thimpu, September 25: The Bangladesh U-18 National Football Team will face Nepal next in the SAFF U-18 Championship 2017 on Monday, September 25.

The match is scheduled to start at 7pm in the Chalimithang Stadium in Bhutan’s capital Thimpu.

Before the high octane match, which might just ensure the title for team Bangladesh, the boys had a rigorous training session.

After training, Head Coach of the Bangladesh U-18 National Team, Mahbubur Rahman Roxy commented on the team’s hopes and ambitions. “The match against Nepal U-18 is highly important. We have no alternative to a win, which will increase our chances of the trophy by 90 percent.”

The coach added that the team is confident with a positive vibe before facing Nepal. He asked for everyone’s support and blessings.

Jafar Iqbal, the firing forward who ensured the wins against India and Maldives, said the equation is simple – a must win against Nepal. “A win against Nepal will almost ensure the title for us. The boys are positive and confident.

Amirul Islam Babu, the team manager, said everything has gone perfect for team Bangladesh till now. “The physical and mental fitness of the team is fine. We are all confident to get a win against Nepal.”

Wishing a success story for the youngsters, Babu also asked for everyone’s support and blessings.
