The AFC Cup 2019 group stage match between Dhaka Abahani Limited and Nepal’s Manang Marshyangdi Club will be played in Dhaka on June 19.
Ahead of the match, the BFF arranged a press conference at the BFF Secretariat in Motijheel, Dhaka on Tuesday, June 18.
The press conference was attended by Abahani head coach Mario Lemos, striker Nabib Newaz Ziban, Manang head coach Chhiring Lopsang and captain Biraj Maharjan.
Abahani head coach Mario Lemos said that the match is crucial for his team to stay in contention to become group champions.
Ziban said that all the players will give it their best to produce good football and claim all three points.
Manang head coach Chhiring Lopsang also expressed his target of winning the match but acknowledged that it will be a tough match as both teams are really good.
The match will kick-off at 5:45pm at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
The football fans will be able to enjoy the game from the stands free of cost as the gallery will be open for all during the match.
Notably, Abahani beat Manang Marshyangdi Club 1-0 away from home on April 3 and the Dhaka giants will be keen to do the double over their rivals to stay on track to be group champions.
