Bangladesh hold hosts Tajikistan in AFC U-19 Championship Qualifiers

Tajikistan, October 31: In the second match of ‘AFC U-19 Championship 2018 Qualifiers’ Group B, Bangladesh denied hosts Tajikistan full points with a solid performance as they held the match at 0-0 draw.

The points lost could be crucial in Tajikistan’s bid to qualify for the Finals in Indonesia next year.

For Bangladesh, holding the hosts will be a confidence booster ahead of their remaining three matches.

Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Sri Lanka and Maldives are the teams alongside Bangladesh in Group B.

Team Bangladesh will next face Maldives on November 2.
