BD Women’s football team to participate in Women’s Olympic Asian Qualifiers

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Women’s Olympic National Football Team will be participating in the Asian Qualifiers Round of the Women’s Olympic Football Tournament 2020. While the main tournament begins in 2020, the Asian Qualifiers are to start from November 8, 2018 and will end on November 13, 2018. Myanmar, Nepal, India and Bangladesh will be participating in the tournament. The Bangladesh team will be leaving the country for Myanmar on November 5 in this regard. The announcement was made at a press conference on November 4 at the BFF headquarters. At the press conference, trainer Golam Rabbani and Captain Sabina Khatun mentioned how every team is well ahead of Bangladesh in the FIFA ranking, but that they hope to give their very best in the tournament.
