Dhaka: Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Wednesday observed the 43rd anniversary of the martyrdom of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
To mourn the sorrowful demise of the greatest Bangali of thousand years, the BFF arranged Quran recitation and food giveaway to the poor at the BFF premises after the Zuhr prayers.
BFF President Kazi Salahuddin, Senior Vice President Abdus Salam Murshedy, BFF members Md Iqbal Hossain, Md Fazlur Rahman Babul, Zakir Hossain Chowdhury, BFF, AFC and FIFA Council Member Mahfuza Akter Kiron and BFF General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag were also present on the occasion.
