JFA U14: Tangail Vs Thakurgaon final tomorrow

Dhaka: The matches of the first round of JFA U14 National Women’s Football Championship 2018 was held from April 24-27, 2018 at six venues of the country.

Then the final round of the significant domestic women’s competition began on April 30 at Bir Sreshtha Shahid Sipahi Md Mostafa Kamal Stadium, Kamlapur with the participation of top eight districts of the preliminary round.

After a lot of eye-catching footballing action, the final match of JFA U14 National Women’s Football Championship 2018 will be contested by Tangail and Thakurgaon districts at 3:30pm on May 8 at the same venue.

Ahead of the final, a press conference was held at 3:30pm in the conference room of the BFF House (2nd floor) in Motijheel on 7 May 2018.

The press meet was attended by Thakurgaon District U14 women’s team head coach Joynal Abedin, team captain Bithika Kisku and Tangail District U14 women’s team head coach Golam Rahman and team captain Farzana Khanom.

Moreover, Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) female representative on the FIFA Council and Chairperson of the BFF Women’s Football committee Mahfuza Akhter Kiron, BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Sohag, WALTON Group operative director (Sports and Welfare) FM Iqbal BVin Anwar Don and BFF Women’s Football committee member Nasrin Akter Baby were also present at the press meet.
