Second COVID-19 Tests of Bangladesh Football Team

A total of 26 out of 36-member Bangladesh national football team -- 30 players and 6 officials -- tested COVID-19 negative while 7 players tested positive. Those seven players are Anisur Rahman, Md Rabiul Hasan, Md Tutul Hosain Badsha, Bishwanath Ghosh,  M S Bablu, Md Faisal Ahmed Fahim, Md Shahidul Alam.
The rest of three players -- Riyadul Hasan, Rakib Hossain, and Rayhan Hasan -- have been advised to be kept special observations.
ICDDRB and Praava Health on Monday collected samples of the entire national team for testing COVID-19 for the second time.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) also decided to halt the training camp as the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) postponed all the matches for the joint qualifiers round two of FIFA World Cup 2022 and AFC Asian Cup 2023 until 2021 due to travel restrictions. 
BFF also decided to provide better treatment to all infected players under their supervision.
BFF General Secretary Md Abu Nayeem Shohag disclosed the details.
