U15, U18 talent hunt programme held in Thakurgaon, Cox’s and Bandarban

Dhaka: The Bangladesh Football Federation will launch a long-term residential training camp at the newly formed BFF Football Academy in Dhaka’s Beraid area from March 1, 2019 for players from the U15 and U18 pool. To select players for the academy, the BFF launched a talent hunt programme on Monday, January 28 and 29. On January 28, grassroots U15 and U18 players were invited to attend a talent hunt programme in Chapai Nawabganj district of Rajshahi division. On January 30, the same was done in Thakurgaon, Cox’s Bazar and Bandarban. The trials will take place in other districts one by one. The District Football Associations supervised the trials along with BFF authorized trainers and selected potential players for the academy. Two players u-15 and 5 players from u-18 will be selected from Cox’s Bazar and 1 player from u-15 and 3 players from u-18 will be selected from Bandarban. The primarily selected players will have to attend a final trial to be eventually selected for the BFF Football Academy. Aspirants born after January 01, 2004 can participate in U-15 trials while aspirants born after January 1, 2001 can take part for U-18 trials.
