Women footballers in Myanmar to play Olympic qualifiers

Yangon: Bangladesh women’s Olympic football team has reached Yangon, former capital of Myanmar, to compete in Group C of the first round of qualifiers for Olympic 2020 women’s football discipline. The team reached Yangon at 5:30pm (local time) on Monday. Myanmar Football Federation officials received the team with a warm welcome. Bangladesh is the first team to reach Myanmar for the tournament. Other Group C rivals, India and Nepal, will arrive on Tuesday afternoon. Bangladesh team will stay at INYA Lake Hotel at Kaba Aye Pagoda Road Yangon, Myanmar during the whole tournament. Weather condition of Myanmar is warm like Bangladesh. The team had a meeting at the hotel on Monday night after dinner. On Tuesday morning, the team will go for a walk and then train in the afternoon session.
