U-15 girls hopes for good results in Hong Kong

Dhaka, March 28: The Bangladesh U-15 National Women’s Team will participate in the Jockey Club Girl’s International Youth Invitational Football Tournament 2018 in Hong Kong from March 30 to April 1.

Alongside the red and greens, Iran, Chinese Taipei and hosts Hong Kong will participate in the 3-day long tournament.

The U-15 contingent will leave Dhaka for Hong Kong on March 29 at 1:55am and will return home on April 2 after the tournament.

To brief about the competition, a press conference was held at the BFF Conference Room on March 28, at 11:30am.

BFF Women’s wing chairperson and Executive Committee member, Mahfuza Akhter Kiron, who also holds positions as an AFC and FIFA Executive member, answered queries from reporters in the press meet. Alongside her, BFF Executive Committee and Women’s Football Committee member Md Amirul Islam Babu, BFF member Md Iqbal Hossain, BFF General Secretary Md Abu Nayeem Shohag, head coach Golam Rabbani Choton, assistant coaches Md Mahbubur Rahman Litu and Mahmuda Akhter, captain Maria Manda and assistant skipper Mosammat Akhi Khatun were present in the press meet.

Coach Choton and skipper Maria expressed hopes to produce good results in the tour.
