U-19 boys ready for AFC U19 qualifiers

Dhaka, October 25: Ahead of the Bangladesh U19 team participating in the “AFC U19 Championship 2018 Qualifiers” scheduled to start from October 29 in Tajikistan, the BFF held a press conference at the BFF House in Motijheel at 12:30pm on Thursday, October 26.

At the press conference, questions of journalists were answered by U-19 team head coach Mr. Mahbub Rahman Roxy, BFF General Secretary Mr. Abu Nayeem Shohag, U-19 team manager Mr. Amirul Islam Babu and U19 goalkeeper Mr. Pappu Hasan.

Head coach Mahbub Rahman Roxy said, “The team consists of some promising good players. We will try to ensure our participation in the final stage of the tournament through good results.”

Bangladesh has been pitted against hosts Tajikistan, Ujbekistan, Maldives and Sri Lanka in group-B in the tournament.

The Bangladesh side will leave the country for Tajikistan at 11:45am on Friday, October 27.
