Football for Friendship: BD contingent flies for Russia Sunday

Dhaka, June 24: Gazprom’s 5th Season of the Football for Friendship Programme will be held in Saint Petersburg of Moscow in Russia from June 26 to July 3, 2017.

The Bangladeshi participants of the programme are set to leave Dhaka for Moscow via an Emirates Airlines flight at 1:00am on Sunday (25.06.2017).

The following players and officials will take part in the event from Bangladesh:

Md Arif Hossain Moon (Team Leader)

Ahsan Ahmed Amit (Team Coordinator)

Md Golam Rabbi Khan (U12 player)

Daniel Karim Ansari (Junior Journalist)

Atik Anam (Journalist – Daily Star)

These participants will watch the final match of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 live and take part in several training programmes and workshops regarding football.

Bangladesh is going to take part in the Football for Friendship Programme for the first time ever.

The tournament will take place to promote the FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017.

Bangladesh is one of the 64 countries participating in the event.
