Our target is to go through to the finals. Our next match against Myanmar is a very important match for us,” he added. On the other hand, Philippines Team Head Coach Maneilla Renitee said, “Without a doubt, Bangladesh are a very good team. Monica, Maria & Rupna are genuine talents.” “The trio guided and controlled the full team in the match and completely dominated us,” she added. “Their team has very also good players in defense,” she further said. “Bangladesh truly deserve to go to the finals,” the Philippines coach added. Bangladesh U16 women’s team have earned a great 10-0 victory over Philippines in their first match of AFC U16 Championship qualifier in Myanmar’s Mandalay stadium. With this victory, Bangladesh is now one step ahead to get the ticket of the final round of the tournament which is scheduled to be held in Thailand this September.Interestingly, Bangladesh had no idea about the power of their East Asian opponents since they had no experience of playing against the team in any stage.
